Today I upgraded The Bat! 4.something to 4.1.9 and now my spam folder is gone.
Perhaps just a coincidence or perhaps ASS isn't compatible with the latest version of TB! ???
I reinstalled the latest registred version of ASS, but that didn't help. |

In fact the spam folders are created and maintained by TheBat only. The plug-in doesn't have any access to mail folders at all.
TheBat creates "Junk mail" folders before moving there the first message, classified as spam by the plug-in. It creates one common junk folder for all accounts when the corresponding option is enabled in TheBat settings for antispam plug-ins.
If there are messages classified as spam (on the client, by full message content) in Filtering log, but "Junk mail" folder doesn't exist, apparently it is a kind of bug in the specific version of TheBat. |

Problem fixed.
Suddenly the Junk folder appeared and was filled with 15 messages.
Must have been a very unusable situation yesterday; no spam for 4 hours 
I was just a bit scared I would loose wrongly clasified mail. |
