Hi there!
I have noticed for quite some time now that something is changing the server timeout value in a mail account after the restart of TB!; the default value after creating a new POP3 account is 60 seconds, after a restart of TB! this value is set to 6000 seconds; deactivating antispamsniper pro 3.3.1.5 solves the problem; could you perhaps look into this?
Best regards, |

The plug-in updates timeout value to avoid breaking connections during filtering spam by message headers. It takes control over timeouts and assigns the large value in TheBat account settings to avoid premature breaking the connections by TheBat. |

Hi Vitaly,
so this is a new feature in version 3.3.1.5 Pro, previous versions seem not to change this setting. Deactivating "block spam by header" still doesn't allow changes of the server timeout value (6000 seconds).
Best regards,

In old versions raising the timeout for TCP connections was recommended in manual. The new versions do this automatically. |

Thanks for the quick reply! So there is no screw to turn to change this value in the plugin? Changing this value in The Bat always brings back the 6000 seconds. |
