Try to set the default IMAP options in TheBat account settings, and in settings of your gmail account. The issue cannot be reproduced, so probably it happens only under certain conditions.

I found the solution modifying the IMAP options from GMAIL. These are the 2 importants options to check:

1) When I mark a message in IMAP as deleted: Auto-Expunge off - Wait for the client to update the server. (I already had that)

2) When a message is marked as deleted and expunged from the last visible IMAP folder: Move the message to the Trash

Here for this second choice, I had before:

When a message is marked as deleted and expunged from the last visible IMAP folder: Archive the message

But this create the bug. Perhaps because for Gmail to archive means to move a message from Inbox to "All Mails" and sometimes they come back to Inbox. I don't know. But if I activate "Move the message to the Trash" there is no problem anymore.

I didn't modified anything on The Bat imap options.
