I had few issue with previous versions, but this release is excellent.
Using it over two weeks and so far so good.
Not one false positive, no hanging, no registering problem etc.
I feel it's touch conservative, but as it learns it picks up speed.
2 things:
a) I can't (or don't know how) stop the image spammers.
b) Have a place where we all can send the stubborn spam (that's not filtering) then Vetaltm can look at it and try to make adjustment.
Great work Vetaltm |

I didn't try yet but it should be possible to filter mails with "image spam" by creating a rule that looks for: "Content type: image/gif;" or "Content type: image/png;" or "Content type: image/jpg;"
The mails you are referring to are almost always consisting of a text and an image section. Text is mostly disregarded to fool spam filters and the image itself transports the message.
Also check for: "<a.*/cgi-bin/.*<img.*</a>" which might contain a link pointing to something you do not want to get hit with. |

A set of additional methods for filtering spam by attached images is planned for version 2.0. Recognizing the presence of text on pictures, filtering animated GIFs and several other methods are in development. Unfortunately the new features are rather complex, so I can't provide an exact estimation for the possible date of release. |
