I'm a member of a forum that sends out an email when there is a reply in the threads I subscribed to.
I didn't receive notification for a wgile but had no idea what was wrong.
Today I tried deinstalling ASS and suddenly I received several notifications.
Surely that could be because I blacklisted the sites emails but that's not the case.
a] It's whitelisted.
b] It doesn't show up in the JunkMail box.
c] I received old mails...

That last point needs a bit of explaining I guess Very Happy

My PC is always online and checks mail every 5 minutes.
When ASS got switched of I received notifications that where created between 0 and 9 days ago.
I could understand that they simply vanisihed but now it looks like they where still stored on my ISPs mailserver.

I hope this makes any sense to you because I find it hard to explain.

antispamsniper.com host was restarted about 12 hours ago. If there were no other old messages except the forum notifications, perhaps it was an issue with our MTA.

The problem was not with this site/forum but another forum (that was not down or restarted)
Just that one forum other forums worked fine.
