Hello,
i have a question regarding the DNSBL services.
Are DNSBL services used for filtering, if i click "Get new Mail for All" of the TheBat or are they only used if click the "Delete spam" icon of Antispamsniper toolbar?
Best regards,

The sender IP is checked via DNSBL in both cases. "Delete spam" starts the same procedure, which is used automatically for filtering headers during checking email. This button is intended to start checking message headers manually in case if it cannot be started automatically for some reason. |

thank you very much for your answer.
I accidentally unchecked "Check-up the accounts automatically, on receiving new mail" in the Servers tab, what explains my problems with DNSBL.
I use only SSL POP3 connections, so that restoring messages deleted by their headers is not possible, if i understood the help correctly. Is this technically not possible? The background of this question is, that DNSBL works pretty good for me, but in two cases mails were wrongly deleted and i had no chance to restore them.
Best regards,

The current version doesn't filter the connections, protected with SSL (TLS/STARTTSL). Thereby the plug-in cannot hide from email client the messages marked as deleted on the server, and deletes them permanently for SSL connections. Filtering the protected connections will be implemented in next releases. |
