This field describes the format of next section in mail. For example, if this field is "image/*", the next section contains an encoded picture. "text/plain" - plain text, "text/html" - message in HTML and so on. "multipart/*" is used to identify a composite section, containing several sections of simple MIME types. Using the Content-Type field in black rules doesn't make sense without additional adjusting conditions.

This header is used by DomainKeys identification method. Here is a description:

This method is useless for filtering spam in most cases, because most often the sender addresses in spam are forged and don't use the domains with DomainKeys support. It is possible to identify that a message has arrived from the domain specified in From header, but it is also not a 100% sign of non-spam. |
