I have a couple suggestions that would save me (and possibly others) some mouse clicks and time.
I prefer to view the log in a sort other than the default of arrival time. Would it be possible to have the log remember the last sort displayed? I currently try to remember to minimize it rather than closing it after viewing but of course that leaves it in the tool bar at the bottom. Since I have The Bat! minimize to the systray, it is annoying to have ASS hanging around.
Another suggestion is to allow setting the log to only show items that are "Deleted from server". Since I review all messages that land in the Junk Mail folder there and of course read all my other mail, it is redundant to have them displayed in the log. Allowing options for what is displayed would be helpful.
That reminds me that the term "Deleted from server" is misleading. Of course I've grown used to it now, but early on it seemed contradictory since those message were still on the server. How about "Held for deletion on server" or something like that?
These are small issues with a product that really does an excellent job.
Thanks

There is a special option in plug-in settings for this case:
Options | "Log settings" | "Hide log window when The Bat! Main window is invisible"

The plug-in saves the sorting order in case when the log is sorted by several columns. Open the Filtering Log, press Shift, then click on column headers Status and Time. The records in Status column are sorted by the value of spam ratio. I.e. when both columns are sorted in descending order (arrow down), the records with status "Deleted from server" (ratio 100) come first and additionally sorted by time. In this case you can review only latest "Deleted from server" records, but optionally you can also scroll down the list to see other items.

You are right, the status name "Deleted from server" doesn't reproduce the full sense. However it is impossible to see "Deleted from server" messages in TheBat, so from the viewpoint of TheBat user these messages are really deleted. In Windows Explorer the context menu item for deleting files also named as "Delete", not "Move to Recycle Bin". And in TheBat the messages are moved to Trash folder when you click Delete. There is a direct analogy between the Recycle Bin in Windows, Trash folder in TheBat and the stored copies of spam messages on the server. Thereby the original "Deleted" status is used even when a message is physically leaved on the server. I think that "Held for deletion" status is also confusing, but anyway maybe it makes sense to rename the status in future versions to distinguish the restorable and completely deleted messages. Thanks for your suggestion.

I guess I was aware of that, but my real issue was better answered in your next response. I can now close the log with impunity.

That does the trick. A note to that effect in the help would be good. Thanks!

I sort of see your point, but as much as I regularly distinguish between using the delete key and shift-delete in both Windows and The Bat!, I didn't see the analogy, possibly because the placement wasn't a conscious decision on my part (no delete key required). I'll still lobby for a change in the text displayed.
