In account properties make sure that the option "Check mailbox at startup" is disabled on Options tab. Also on "Mail management" tab select "to load contents..." in "Connect to the server" group. This ensures that the connection to IMAP server will not be created on startup when IMAP account is selected by default. |

Sadly this changes nothing
I opened The Bat at home this morning to do the same settings as suggested and which are already enabled already on my work's computer,
Went to work, no spam being caught, had to uninstall from The bat, then uninstall from windows to reninstall on windows then The Bat again
very long and tedious.
It would be more than nice if this could be corrected as I've never seen the same probalems using Postbox or Thunderbird for the capture of spam and using their free version
The setting on the work were,
Account/Option . check mailbox at start up disabled
Account/ Mail management/ connect to serveur/ to load contents of a messsage or do other action 'ticked' |
