1./ If I get a mail from the same email address but with different names displayed the mail will be directed in the spam folder. Due to this I have to scan the Spam mailbox carefully not to miss some mail.
Is there a way to set up "Friends - Edit list" in such a way that it checks the email address but not the name displayed?
Example:
Display name: John email address: john&address.com was in the list of friends, I got a new mail with display name: John and Mary with the same email address it was sorted to the Spam folder.
This happened with a number of addresses. Now I have in the Friends list the same people several times depending how their name was displayed. (First name /Family name or family name/first name etc.)
2./ Occasionally I get emails from the same domain, but different address, is there a way to cover them in one line in the friends list?
Example:
John john&address.com
Mary mary&address.com
This would not work with yahoo or gmail as domain, but often I get mail where a company has his own domain name and I want all mail as friendly from that domain.
I just started to use AntispamSniper, like it so far, but would like to solve these issues.
Using Windows XP SP2, TheBat version 3.95.6, AntispamSniper 1.7.0.8 free version.
Hope someone has an answer to my problem. Thanks in advance
Peter
P.S. I replaced the @ sign with & to let this submit. |

The latest version 1.8.0.5 ignores the display names when an option "Ignore emails without display names" is unchecked:

You can use the symbol '*' as a mask in that case:
Name: *
Email: *@address.com
* is used to replace any number of any other symbols. |
