I've selected the option to only check spam on my client.
On server deletion makes me losing sleep Smile
The help states that POP3 is only checked on headers and IMAP on headers an optionally on bodies.
When I do a on client check does it check the full body on my POP3 account?

Can I somewhere specify what exactly has to be done with spam?
- Adding [SPAM] to the subject.
- Adding a line to the message header.
- Moving it to a special Spam folder that can be reviewed before deletion.

I just don't like that the/a program makes the final decision...

/EDIT
Seems I was to trigger happy,
I didn't select the option to move mails to the Junk Mail folder.
Now it's on it works perfect sofar.

The plug-in filters the messages by headers first, for POP3 and IMAP accounts. The messages recognized by headers as 100% spam in POP3 mailbox are marked as deleted on the server immediately, and the email client doesn't download them. The messages marked as deleted on the server may be restored from Filtering Log. Select there some mistakenly deleted message and press "Undelete". The restored message will be downloaded by email client next time on checking the mailbox. So you will never lose a good email, mistakenly deleted from server. Just check the filtering log periodically, review the headers of the messages deleted from server and restore them in case of false positives. The messages marked as deleted on the server are actually deleted after disappearing of the corresponding items from Filtering Log. Also you can delete them manually, using the button with basket in Filtering Log toolbar.

The messages, which are not recognized as spam by DNSBL, black rules, blacklist of senders and black words, are downloaded by email client and the plug-in filters them by full content. TheBat moves the messages with high spam ratio to the "Junk mail" folder automatically.

In case of IMAP the filtering also has two stages. First the plug-in downloads the message headers and tries to find 100% spam by headers. The recognized spam is moved to a separate IMAP folder for spam. Then the plug-in downloads the bodies of the rest of new messages in IMAP folder and classifies them by full content. The plug-in moves the messages with high spam ratio to the same IMAP folder for spam.

TheBat is responsible for the final decision and it doesn't allow the first two options. You can review the messages classified as spam in Filtering Log. To restore the message mistakenly deleted from server by the plug-in use "Undelete" button. The other messages, recognized as spam by full content on the client, you can find in TheBat "Junk mail" folder.
