Whit the new version (2.7.1.7) can't get the mail, fails to connect to the server...
If i disable the option "check the accounts automatically when receiving new mail", TheBat! gets the mail correctly, the connection to the server works fine.
Using TheBat! 4.0.9 |

Not confirmed. Have you any antivirus/firewall applications installed? Please try also the latest TheBat 4.0.11. |

Also tested with TB 4.0.11
I update in the last days my antivirus NOD32 v2.7 to V3.0.621, but the ASS 2.7.1.5 works fine with this. |

Actually the plug-in 2.7.1.5 doesn't filter message headers at all in TheBat 4.x (because of the incompatibility with the latest versions of TheBat). With TheBat 4.x filtering spam by headers works in plug-in since version 2.7.1.7. And probably the filtering conflict with NOD32 doesn't allow the plug-in 2.7.1.7 to filter mail connections properly. IMON module of NOD32 allows changing the level of compatibility with the other filtering software. Try to set IMON to maximum compatibility mode, this should resolve the conflict. Or try to use NOD32 plug-in in TheBat instead of filtering email connections in IMON. |

Always fails, with any option disabled, including deactivating NOD32 completely still failing...
At the moment he returned to the previous version of NOD32.
Tank you. |

Check the firewall settings (Windows firewall or another installed software). Make sure that the incoming TCP connections are allowed for thebat.exe, port 40000. |

No problems with my firewall, TB have permissions on all port.
The trouble is that the NOD32 V3 not permit working TB and ASS together, even if the all protections are disabled...
Thanks for your help. |

To resolve the conflict with NOD32 v3.x deselect TheBat.exe in the list of POP3 email clients in NOD32 settings (Setup | Antivirus and antispyware | Email protection | POP3 | Email clients). When TheBat is listed as email client, NOD32 blocks access to non-standard ports for it, even if all subsystems are disabled. The plug-in redirects email connections to port 40000 when filtering spam by headers. In described case this activity is silently blocked by NOD32. Probably this is a bug in version 3.0.621.0, but everything works properly when TheBat.exe is not checked as email client in NOD32 settings. |
