I am currently evaluating the Antispamsniper plugin (pro version) because I am using exclusively IMAP with the bat! and want to add some spam filtering.
The problem is that the plugin fails to connect to my imap server (an gmx imap account: imap.gmx.net). It just times out, no error message.
I already tried different port settings (143 and 993), disabling ssl on my the bat! mail account but still no connection.
If I try to use the plugin with my pop account is does connect without a problem and starts filtering thus I dont think i has something to do with my firewall settings (I even turned the firewall completely off during the test...)
What am I doring wrong? I really would like to use this plugin...

ok, the support told me to set the connection type on POP3 tab of IMAP account settings in plug-in to "Regular". This did it for me, everything works now like a charm  |
