Two thoughts...
1) It is possible to set a hot-key to call up the ASS (whoops!) log from within TB!. It would be nice if this hot-key worked as a toggle; i.e. first time actuated displays the log, next time closes the log.
2) The following may not be possible because of limitations in the TB! plugin interface, but it would certainly be nice if there were a way to mark messages sent to the junk folder. Anthing would do; setting a flag would be ideal, or assigning to a color group, whatever. The idea is that most of us check the junk folder occasionally for false positives, and it would be great to have a way of seeing messages we have not yet inspected. Simply leaving new spam marked 'unread' doesn't do it because doing so keeps the animated bat icon flying, reducing its usefulness as an indicator of 'real' mail.
Or perhaps I've overlooked something, and either/both of the above are already possible?
Very nice plugin, BTW. I'll be registering shortly. |

Great feature, thank you! It will be implemented in the next version.

Unfortunatelly the current version of TheBat doesn't allow the plug-ins to do anything with the messages or their attributes. But there are simple workarounds, allowing to inspect the junk folder in almost the same way. For example, you can create an additional subfolder under Junk folder (e.g. with the name TrulyJunk). Also you can create a rule in TheBat that moves all messages from Junk to TrulyJunk. The rule must have a flag, allowing to execute it with the hot-key only. After regular inspecting the Junk folder, the good messages must be moved to good folders manually. Then the rest of messages in Junk folder can be moved to TrulyJunk automatically, by pressing a hot-key of the created rule. |

Good point. That or some variation on the same theme. Thanks for the suggestion! |
