Hello, I wanted to know if the latest version of AntispamSniper is compatible with version 11 of The Bat since it dates from 2022. I just reinstalled the plugin, but I’m having an issue. In the logs, I see that some emails are classified as Spam, but they are never moved to the 'Junk' folder. It’s as if I were in 'test' mode. Of course, I have selected the option to move spam to the 'Junk' folder in The Bat’s settings. But no emails are moved... Another curious thing is that sometimes in the logs I don’t find all the emails that arrive, as if only some of them were being analyzed but not all... I’m using Gmail with IMAP. Thank you for your help.

For IMAP protocol the plug-in moves spam messages to IMAP junk folder, according to plug-in settings on IMAP tab of account properties on Accounts tab. It is necessary to select all checkboxes on Accounts tab in plug-in settings to allow for the plug-in filtering of IMAP traffic.

Thanks. I found the solution: "add new accounts automatically" was not selected. Not it works if I select it.

But I unselected that purposely because I have 10 imap accounts and I only need to use AS only on 2 of them.

Now I have all the 10 accounts detected and AS analyze them even if I selected "do not filter messages from this server" (pop3 + imap) on the account options.

Any idea how to solve that?

It is possible to remove from list the accounts which must not be filtered and disable adding new accounts.

If I disable adding new accounts, spam messages are not moved to the junk folder

It is possible to use a white rule like this to avoid filtering for specific accounts:
Header{Received} =~ mailbox1@domain1\.com|mailbox2@domain2\.com

Thanks

BTW, it could happens that, for some reason, AS delete definitively some mails that were in the SENT folder? I lost some sent mails in this folder and I am not able to understand why.... impossible to find them in the trash folder or any other folder (even junk)

The plug-in doesn't delete IMAP messages. It filters only new unread messages in IMAP folders, and moves classified spam to the Junk folder on the server.

Ok. The good rule to avoid filterring on some accounts is:

Header{Received} =~ mailbox1@domain1\.com|mailbox2@domain2\.com

Or Body {Received} =~ mailbox1@domain1\.com|mailbox2@domain2\.com

For sure this command doesn't work:

Header{Received} =~ mail1@domain1.com|mail2@domain2.com|mail3@domain3.com

I have to put a \ somewhere like in your example?

The text after =~ is a regular expression, where '.' is a special symbol matching any single character. It is necessary to add '\.' to make it match only a dot.

Ok thanks!

BTW, not a big problem, but the "view statistics as chart" doesn't work anymore (no graphs but table displays correctly)

To fix the issue select Classic theme in TheBat (Options | Theme | Classic).
