Attachments

The plug-in can block messages containing certain types of attachments. The window with the corresponding options is opened with a click on the "Attachments..." button on the Filtering tab. The following features are available:

• It is possible to specify a list of attachment types that should be blocked. Messages with at least one attachment of the listed type are classified as spam.
  
  
• The plug-in searches all attachments for the Windows executable signature when the corresponding option is enabled. Messages with at least one executable attachment are blocked.
  
  
• The plug-in can recognize messages with clickable images linked to potentially dangerous websites. It checks all attached images with links in the HTML body. If some image is linked to a domain that is not the one from which the message has arrived, the message is classified as spam.
  
  
• It is possible to block messages containing animated GIF images. Messages with at least one animated GIF image are blocked.
